Marouane Chamakh has no intentions of returning to France this winter according to his agent.
The 27-year old former Bordeaux striker recently indicated that he could depart the Emirates Stadium if regular game time doesn't come his way but his representative, Pierre Frelot, insists he is determined to remain with the Gunners following January's international tournament with Morocco.
"His short-term goal is the African Cup of Nations with Morocco, and then to finish the season at Arsenal," Frelot told Sud-Ouest.
"Then there will be an important choice to make, but he does not intend to return to France."
