Arsenal's Bendtner warned over Denmark goal celebrations

Nicklas Bendtner has received a warning from the Danish Football Association for his celebrations after scoring in Denmark's 3-2 loss to Portugal at Euro2012 last night.

After heading home his second goal, to make it 2-2, the Arsenal striker lifted his shirt and lowered his shorts to reveal his underwear plastered with the name of Irish betting company Paddy Power.

It has been revealed that UEFA rules disallow players to wear any sponsorship items with their playing kit whilst DFA spokesman Lars Berendt indicated that Bendtner had breached Demark's sponsorship rule as they have an agreement with a British betting company.

"We have an exclusive deal and this is, of course, a breach of it," said Lars Berendt.

"And it's also a breach of UEFA's commercial rules, rules against exposing personal messages."
