Arsenal's Arshavin plays down QPR interest

Arsenal attacker Andrei Arshavin has cooled talk of a potential summer shit to QPR.

The Russian international is being linked with a move away from North London following his loan spell with Zenit St Petersburg last season, with some reports suggesting that the R's are keen to bring him to Loftus Road.

Arshavin played down the interest of QPR but did hint that there was the possibility of a move away from Arsenal during in the near future.

"That's all 'virtual news'," Arshavin told Sport Express regarding the QPR link.

"At the moment I am an Arsenal player, and I've just arrived for pre-season with them."

He added of a possible move: "In this life you should never say never."
