Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is going for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini. The Daily Star Sunday says Fellaini, 25, is also on the Frenchman's wanted list.

Sources within Arsenal say Fellaini's £24million buy-out clause is not a problem.

Arsenal's interest in Fellaini will rock Manchester United, where new manager David Moyes would love to be reunited with the player he signed for Everton.

Moyes relied heavily on the Belgian and would like to sign him again as he tries to stamp his own mark on United following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Wenger already has Belgium international Thomas Vermaelen, a close friend of former Standard Liege man Fellaini, at the club.
