Arsenal rocked as Henry, Vermaelen, Arteta all struggling to make Man Utd clash

Arsenal striker Thierry Henry is struggling to make their clash with Manchester United.

Henry is losing the battle to make the first start of his second coming at Arsenal on Sunday, says the Mirror.

The Gunners' messiah is desperate to form a dream ticket up front with Robin van Persie against Manchester United.

But Henry, 34, faces a late fitness test to determine whether he is even fit enough for a place on the bench after pulling up with a slight calf strain in training on Tuesday.

In a triple setback for manager Arsene Wenger, midfield kingpin Mikel Arteta and defender Thomas Vermaelen are also doubtful for a match that will see Arsenal bidding to avoid a hat-trick of Premier League defeats.
