Arsenal have approached Eintracht Frankfurt for midfielder Aymen Barkok.
Barkok, standing at 1.88m, has attracted an enquiry from Gunners chief Sven Mislintat, says Il Giornale.
Torino are also in talks with Eintracht for the midfielder and are regarded as being ahead of Arsenal in the battle for Barkok's signature.
Barkok, 20, is a Germany U21 international and has a deal with Eintracht until 2020.
Mislintat knows all about the youngster having watched his progress while chief scout at Borussia Dortmund.
