Arsenal are joining the battle for Schalke midfielder Max Meyer.

Reviere Sport says Arsenal are among the teams considering a move for Germany Under-21 starlet Meyer.

The Gunners have reportedly joined Liverpool and Tottenham in showing an interest in Meyer's services.

The Premier League clubs are monitoring his progress - and he has failed to rule out a move from his current side, Schalke.

“It is not the case that I want to leave come what may," he said recently.

“As things stand [I will stay], but you can never say for sure when you have one year left on your contract and the transfer window is open for another couple of months."
