Arsenal rival Newcastle for Gomis

Arsenal have joined the race for Saint-Etienne striker Bafe Gomis.

Newcastle have already made a offer for Gomis, who has been likened to Chelsea star Didier Drogba.

French sources say Arsenal and Bolton are also chasing the 22 year-old.
