Arsenal's top four hopes are on the line as they appeal against Olivier Giroud's red card today.
The Daily Mail says Arsenal have risked losing Giroud for the rest of the season after appealing his sending off against Fulham.
The striker's clumsy tackle on Stanislav Manolev in the weekend win at Craven Cottage resulted in a straight sending off.
Giroud is facing a three-match suspension, but Arsenal hope to have the ban quashed on the grounds the France international slipped in the moments before the challenge.
Arsenal, though, are risking the suspension being extended by an extra game if the FA deem the appeal as frivolous.
The FA are due to make a decision on Arsenal's appeal today.
