Premier League clubs must move quickly if they're to snap up Lassana Diarra.
Available from Lokomotiv Moscow after falling out with management, Diarra has been keen to return to the Premier League, where he has been in touch with QPR and former club Arsenal.
However, the Daily Star says a move to Schalke could now be on, with the Frenchman failing to find an English club willing to meet his terms.
Diarra was not registered by Lokomotiv for the new season and is currently a free agent.
