Arsenal reserves coach Terry Burton was pleased to kickoff his return with victory over Boreham Wood.
It is Burton's second spell on the Gunners coaching staff.
Burton told arsenal.com: "It is always different and always a challenge when you take over a new role. While it is one I have done before it has been a few years in between since. I have been used to trying to get three points twice a week for the last 20 years.
"But within all of that I have always had a love of development and passion for that side of the game. That is the most important thing for me now, trying to help push through the next generation of players for Arsenal's first team."
