Sky Sports understands that Arsenal have renewed talks with Everton for Spanish playmaker Mikel Arteta.
Earlier reports suggested that the two clubs could not agree on a deal for Arteta but more recently it has become apparent that the Gunners are keen to resurrect a potential arrangement.
Arsenal were set to come in with an offer of £10million and then suddenly a proposed deal had fallen over but it seems as though Arsene Wenger is determined to get the 29-year old to the Emirates Stadium.
