Arsenal are still in pursuit of Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote according to reports.
The Daily Star is of the belief that the Gunners are hoping to swoop for the Ivory Coast international who is a strong target for Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow.
Arsenal have been linked with Tiote for the past few weeks and it is believed that Arsene Wenger is still after a quality holding midfielder to complete his squad.
28-year old Tiote, who has made 119 appearances for the Magpies, is reported to want to leave St James' Park after arriving from FC Twente in 2010.
