Arsenal remain interested in Schwarzer as Almunia set for exit

Arsenal's goalkeeping merry-go-round is set to continue with reports suggesting the club is still interested in Fulham's Mark Schwarzer.

The Gunners have been linked with the Australian for some weeks now but it was understood they had dropped interest to pursue Ajax and Holland number one Maarten Stekelenburg.

That still may be the case but more recent reports indicate that Schwarzer is indeed still a target as the London club are set to sell Manuel Almunia to Spanish club Osasuna.

Arsenal have not gone back to Fulham since their £2million ($AUD3.4m) bid was rejected but it is believed that they are still keen on the 37-year old.
