Arsenal reluctant to sell Eduardo to Premier League rivals

Arsenal would prefer to offload out-of-favour striker Eduardo to Valencia rather than risk him finding form at Aston Villa, according to the Daily Mail. The Croatian international has struggled to re-discover the goalscoring touch since coming back from a shocking leg break in 2008.

Both the Spanish outfit and Villa have expressed an interest in the £5 million-rated centre forward, though the Midlanders remain reluctant to enter the bidding if it goes over that figure.
