Arsenal reiterate Fabregas is not for sale

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and chief executive Ivan Gazidis have reiterated that captain Cesc Fabregas is not for sale by refusing to meet with Barcelona president Sandro Rosell. Rosell was hoping for post-World Cup talks with the Gunners in South Africa as the Catalan club continue their pursuit of the classy midfielder but Wenger and Gazidis turned down the offer, indicating they will persist with their strong stance that he is not for sale.

The Gunners have already rejected an offer of £30million and even though Barcelona are set to return with an improved £40million bid, the London club are clearly not prepared to sell.
