Arsenal are readying a major bid for RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg.

The Sunday Mirror says Arsenal are preparing a £20million bid for Swedish star Forsberg.

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has attracted rave reviews with his performances for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has conceded that new blood is needed in the Arsenal squad and he is ready to act with a huge close season investment to strengthen both attack and defence.

And if he succeeds, that could well persuade striker Alexis Sanchez to extend his stay at the Emirates.
