Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to splash out £8 million for Guingamp midfielder Gilbert Imbula.

The Daily Star Sunday says Wenger has £80m to spend in the summer and wants to make Imbula, 20, his first signing.

The midfielder won promotion to the French First Division last season with Guingamp and his efforts have also alerted Chelsea and Lyon.
