Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud feels full of confidence after scoring in their Capital One Cup win over Coventry City.

Next up for Arsenal is a London derby against Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, and Giroud says that spirits are high going into the lunchtime kick-off.

"[The Coventry result] was the perfect win before Chelsea, a very important game. It brings a lot of confidence for me but also for the team," he said.

"Now, we need to think about the league. It's a massive game and I hope it will come our way."
