Arsene Wenger has confirmed that four of his more important players are in doubt for Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Villarreal. Robin van Persie, Eduardo, Samir Nasri and Abou Diaby are all under an injury cloud ahead of the match in Spain and Wenger says it was the international break that has caused the fitness concerns.

"We lost a few players during the international break, especially Eduardo, Van Persie and Diaby," said Wenger.

"They will all be out for tomorrow's game.

"Nasri came back with the flu, he is in bed and is not available for the game. He has a small chance of feeling better for Sunday, so maybe he should be available for the Tuesday game.

"Van Persie, Diaby and Eduardo we believe have a little, little, little chance but they could all be short for Tuesday."
