Arsenal are interested in Sevilla striker José Salomon Rondon.
Estadio Deportivo says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has had scouts watch the Venezuela international striker regularly this season.
Rondon is also a target for Malaga, though local sources say the Gunners have stepped up their interest after registering their interest.
The 22 year-old forward is tied to Malaga until 2014.
