Arsenal prospect Sunu happy to shake off knee injury

Arsenal prospect Gilles Sunu is happy to be over his knee injury.

Sunu had an impressive 2009/10 season, making his first-team debut, featuring in the Champions League, enjoying a successful loan spell at Derby County and ending the campaign by helping France to their youth tournament victory. Now he wants to pick up where he left off.

"[I've really missed] being with the lads on and off the pitch and just playing football really," Sunu told Arsenal.com.

"It feels good [to be playing again]. I haven't played for over two months and it's good to be back.

"It wasn't easy because I had the same injury two years ago in my left knee and then [I got it] on my right knee - it took a bit longer than the previous one but now I'm back so I hope I wont get injured again.

"Obviously my family and friends came over to London a lot so that way I wasn't too down."
