Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin is happy with his loan move to Lorient.

The French youngster has signed for the season.

"When I went to Arsenal, I didn't plan to go on loan," said Coquelin.

"But as I said, I wasn't getting much play time at Arsenal so I don't think it's a mistake to come here where they play a quality football. I'll keep improving, and I'm very happy to sign for Lorient."
