Arsenal midfielder Chuks Aneke hopes for more Carling Cup action this season.
The 18-year-old admitted the butterflies took hold before he entered the fray against Shrewsbury - but only briefly.
"It was a fantastic experience to get the whole feel of playing at the Emirates and I got a few minutes coming off the bench so I was happy," Aneke told arsenal.com.
"I was very nervous. Sitting on the bench I wasn't really but once I got onto the sidelines I started to get nervous. When I stepped on the pitch the nerves went and it was just like a normal game to me.
"When you are standing on the side of the pitch you look around and see all the fans there but when you step out onto the pitch it is just a normal game like I said. You just want to start playing football."
