Arsenal are keen on Valencia midfielder Dani Parejo.
The Daily Star says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is desperate to add some creativity to his midfield and sees Parejo as the man for the job.
Any deal, however, will depend on whether or not the Gunners can match Valencia's asking price.
Arsenal will not spend more than £5m for the former Real Madrid midfielder - who spent five months on loan deal at Queens Park Rangers in 2008 - however Valencia are likely to value him more.
