Arsenal are prepared to up their contract offer to Theo Walcott.
The Daily Mail says Arsenal chiefs previously told the England international they were unwilling to increase their original £75,000-per-week offer, which was rejected by Walcott in August.
But he Gunners' stance on the issue has softened in recent weeks, with the club now willing to reach a compromise with the forward.
It is believed both parties feel an offer of between £80,000 - £85,000-per-week will be enough to secure Walcott's long-term future.
