Arsenal still believe they will sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this month, but it will go down to the wire.
The 28-year-old returned to action against Freiburg on Saturday after Arsenal failed with two bids to sign him last week.
However, The Mirror claims BVB's decision to play Aubameyang was a ploy to let the Gunners know they're willing to wait until the summer to sell him.
Aubameyang is desperate for a move to the Emirates and has agreed upon a three-year deal worth £180,000-a-week.
But he won't complete the switch until Arsenal have met Dortmund's £60m valuation.
