Arsenal are ready to cut loose striker Takuma Asano.

The Japan international spent last season on-loan at VfB Stuttgart - and has just agreed to move to Hannover in a similar deal for next term.

However, BILD says included in Asano's new agreement is a permanent option.

Arsenal have agreed to include a clause which will allow Hannover to sign the Japanese youngster outright for €3m at the end of next season.

The Gunners cannot bring Asano to London because of work permit issues and have decided to now cut their losses.
