Arsenal remain interested in Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

The Gunners have failed with one tentative offer of €12 million for the Portugal international and A Bola says they're willing to return with an improved €15 million bid.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is in the market for an experienced No1 and given the affordable asking price of Rui Patricio, is ready to push through a deal.

Iker Casillas (Real Madrid), Victor Valdes (Barcelona) and Pep Reina (Liverpool) have also been considered by Wenger leading up to the summer market.
