Arsenal are stepping up their interest in PSG youngster Adrien Rabiot. The attacker is also interesting Chelsea and Tottenham after admitting he may seek a move away from Paris if he cannot secure a regular start in coach Laurent Blanc's plans.
Le Parisien says Arsenal's French scout, Gilles Grimandi, was present at the Parc des Princes a fortnight ago to see PSG meet Lyon. Rabiot entered the field on 79 minutes.
The midfielder is tied to PSG until 2015 and has been offered new terms. But all signs are that Rabiot will resist the proposal and move abroad.
Grimandi was also making a new check on Edinson Cavani, who has emerged as a striker target for the Gunners.
Cavani is said to be unsettled in Paris playing in the shadow of superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
