Arsenal are weighing up stepping in for Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry after Liverpool failed to agree terms before a 5pm deadline yesterday.
The Sun says Barry is determined to play Champions League football and Arsenal could now renew their interest with a player-exchange deal.
