Arsenal are being linked with an audacious move for Barcelona fullback Daniel Alves. Barca president Sandro Rosell is open to cashing in on Alves after confiding to fellow directors he regrets not accepting a massive offer from Manchester City for the Brazilian last summer.

TMW says Arsenal have been made aware of Alves' availability and is under consideration as they prepare to lose Bacary Sagna.

Barca are prepared to promote from within to replace Alves, with Adriano and Martin Montoya both battling to oust the experienced fullback.
