Arsenal playmaker Nasri blasts back at Tottenham veteran Gallas

Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri is furious with Tottenham defender William Gallas.

Nasri has accused his former team-mate of talking rubbish and wrecking France's World Cup hopes.

Ex-Arsenal captain Gallas, who joined arch-rivals Spurs during the summer, wrote in his autobiography that Nasri clashed with him and stole Thierry Henry's seat on the France team bus at Euro 2008.

Nasri, who is set to face England at Wembley on Wednesday, has now blasted Gallas for tarnishing his image in the eyes of the French public.

He said: "Somebody [Gallas] wrote in his book that I'd had a row with him, and said that I nicked someone else's [Henry] seat on the bus. That is absolute rubbish.

"People called me a little sod after Euro 2008. But they have come to see the people I had problems with at the time went on to screw things up in South Africa."
