Ajax midfielder Dennis Rommedahl says Arsenal can forget competing for the Premiership title this season.

The former Charlton winger faced the Gunners over the weekend and declared: "They are small, technical players and they're going to get kicked.

"It will be difficult for them to win the league this season because they have many young players who are still gaining experience.

"They have fallen behind the top three teams in England. It will be more difficult for them abroad.

"There will be bigger and stronger teams who will also be technical but more physical. They will beat Arsenal."
