Arsenal players angry with Wenger over 'fatigue' excuse

Arsenal players have told Arsene Wenger to stop blaming fatigue for their poor form.

The Sunday Mirror says a band of Arsenal players unhappy with the generalisation they are all tired, despite the fact they have never complained about fatigue.

The Arsenal squad were amazed Wenger did not pull up players for individual mistakes, when he held a training ground inquest into the defeat against Swansea last Monday.

Wenger himself admitted his claim the squad is tired has been rejected, saying: "We have been a bit jaded, even if that is not accepted by many players."

And Mikel Arteta last week revealed some players had asked for extra training sessions, rather than more time off.
