Arsenal are planning a £15 million bid for Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini.

The Daily Mail says the Italy striker has also attracted interest from Juventus and Napoli after firing Sampdoria to fourth in Serie A with 17 goals in 35 appearances.

Carlo Ancelotti is also an admirer of the 25-year-old and was linked with a move last summer, but the Chelsea boss is now looking at the higher end of the transfer market.

Arsenal have already agreed the signing of Marouane Chamakh from Bordeaux, but reports in Italy say they could still be in the market for another forward.
