Arsenal plan shock £18M double raid for QPR's Remy, Samba

Arsenal are planning a shock double raid on QPR. The Daily Star Sunday says Arsenal are plotting an £18million double swoop for Chris Samba and Loic Remy - if Queens Park Rangers go down.

Congolese defender Samba and France striker Remy have proved instant successes at Loftus Road following big-money arrivals in January from Anzhi Makhachkala and Marseille, respectively.

Remy, 26, scored three times in his first five starts to breathe new life into the seemingly desperate survival scrap of Harry Redknapp's basement boys.

And ex-Blackburn Rovers star Samba has been equally impressive at the back, helping shore up one of the top-flight's weakest defences.

Has the penny dropped for Arsenal? Would this be money well spent? Give us your shout below...
