Arsenal are ready to bid for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender.
The Daily Express says it is thought Leverkusen are under no pressure to sell, but they could let Bender go if the right offer comes in for him.
Moreover, Bender is believed to be keen to leave the Bundesliga and spread his wings.
Arsenal are expected to make a £12 million offer for the midfielder.
