Tottenham have made a late move to trump Arsenal for Gervinho.

The Daily Mail says Arsenal and Spurs are vying for Lille forward Gervinho.

Lille general manager Frederic Paquet said: "We received an offer of €12m (£10.6m) from Tottenham which was refused."

The bid has pushed Arsenal into action in the race to sign the 24-year-old.
