Arsenal are in talks with Barcelona outcast Arda Turan.

The Turkey international is prepared to leave Barca in January after recognising he is not in the plans of coach Ernesto Valverde.

CNN Turk says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen and talks have opened with Turan's minders.

The midfielder has welcomed the approach and is open to a move to London in midseason.

Galatasaray are also in contact with Turan, who won't be blocked by Barca should he wish to leave.
