Arsenal have opened talks with Arsene Wenger about a new contract extension.

The Daily Express says the Gunners have opened negotiations with Wenger with a view to extending his contract.

He has been linked with a move to PSG, with current incumbent Carlo Ancelotti tipped to occur the Real Madrid hot seat.

Gunners chief Ivan Gazidis said: "We have got a lot of confidence in Arsene that he is the right person to take the club forward and I think he will want to do that."
