Arsenal have launched a bid for Defensor Sporting defender Diego Rolan.
The 19 year-old Uruguay international has been linked with Tottenham and Bordeaux.
However, El Spectador says Arsenal are now in contact with the Montevideo club to discuss a €7 million deal.
