Arsenal have opened new contract talks with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Sun says the Gunners want to tie £30million-rated Ox to a new deal to fend off interest from Liverpool and Chelsea.
Preliminary talks were held last week to extend his current £70,000-a-week terms, which have one season left to run.
The 23-year-old was considering his future during last season after finding himself in and out of Arsene Wenger's team.
But Wenger wants to keep the England man with a fresh deal that will push Ox past the £100,000-a-week mark.
