Arsenal have tabled Andrey Arshavin a bumper new contract offer.

The People says Arshavin has been handed a bumper new pay deal at the Emirates.

The 30-year-old Russia captain has suffered a serious drop in form over the past year, but that has not stopped Arsenal moving to bring him in line with their other top earners.

Interestingly, though, the length of his contract has not yet been extended beyond its current expiry date in June 2013.
