Arsenal have tabled a cash-plus-player bid for Schalke star Julian Draxler. Draxler's contract carries a £37 million buyout clause.

The Sun says Arsenal have offered Schalke £20 million plus Lukas Podolski to land the 20-year-old.

But Schalke have rejected the proposal, as they want the full £37 million in cash that is written into the player's buy-out clause.
