Arsenal not fazed by going in to CL semi-final a goal down - Walcott

Arsenal's Theo Walcott says the players are not fazed about going into the Champions League semi-final return leg a goal down.

Opponents Manchester United did all the attacking in the first leg at Old Trafford last week but could only manage one goal and despite being on the receiving end of a verbal barrage from United supporters, Walcott says the Gunners players are confident.

"We got a bit of stick when we left the stadium and went to the coach. There were loads of United fans there and they were shouting: "We are not scared of you," along with a few choice swear words, shall we say," Walcott said.

"We did not create any chances and it will need our best performance of the season on Tuesday to go through to the final.

"Everyone was down after the first leg because we lost the game and did not get the away goal we wanted. But considering the number of chances they had, I think we got away with it.

"We would have taken a 1-0 defeat before the game, especially in view of Manuel Almunia's unbelievable performance. But now we are all buzzing and we have to believe that we can do it.

"It is the biggest game of our careers on our own pitch, in front of our own fans. That will be crucial and we cannot wait to get going.

"We are only 90 minutes away from the European cup final and we will not be fazed. There is no reason to be," he added.
