Arsenal assistant coach Steve Bould is being linked with the top job at West Bromwich Albion.
The Sunday Mirror says Terry Burton, Albion's new technical director, left his post in Arsenal's youth system to take the job at The Hawthorns, and he is pressing the claims of his former colleague at the Gunners.
Bould, 51, is seen as manager material and the Baggies' chairman Jeremy Peace must decide whether to take the plunge.
