Barcelona sports chief Andoni Zubizarreta is drawing up plans to sign some of the best young players in the world.

Zubizarreta doesn't want complacency to run through the club and instead is discussing the prospect of landing a raft of top kids with his most trusted scouts.

El Mundo Deportivo says Santos star Neymar remains a priority, while AC Milan defender Thiago Silva is also on the radar.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has been discussed, though Barca are in advanced negotiations with Lanus for their young shot-stopper Esteban Andrada.

For defence, Valencia fullback Jordi Alba and Bolton Wanderers centre-half Gary Cahill are both under consideration and in midfield Internacional's Oscar is being tracked.

In attack, Napoli striker Edinson Cavani is a favourite of Barca coach Pep Guardiola, while Zubizarreta is watching closely Juan Manuel Iturbe's progress at Porto.
