Arsenal and Newcastle United are being linked with Lille midfielder Florian Thauvin.
Reports in France suggest the player could be allowed to leave Lille for £13m.
According to La Provence, a well-informed source said: "What could happen is that Lille say, 'OK, we will sell him but only for 15m (£13m)'.
"You see, at the end of the day, they [Marseille] do not want him that much."
Newcastle and Arsenal may not be deterred by such an asking price after missing out on the player last season when Thauvin was at Bastia, says the Daily Express.
