Arsenal recruit Marouane Chamakh is ready for Tuesday night's Carling Cup round 3 clash with arch rivals Tottenham.
The Moroccan striker, who has enjoyed a strong start to his Emirates career, has heard from his teammates that the rivalry between the Gunners and Spurs is very strong and is looking forward to the White Hart Lane contest.
"I've spoken to the French players here like Gael Clichy and they told me the atmosphere against Tottenham is hot, very hot - in fact they say it's boiling. I love that kind of game," he said.
"And in the absence of the other players, if the coach wants me to play I will do so willingly."
